DENTAL CARE
Early vaccination against deadly viruses such as canine distemper, parvovirus, feline distemper, rhinotracheitis, and rabies, is key in keeping your pet healthy. We recommend beginning puppies and kittens on a vaccine schedule at 6 weeks of age. Adult pets should be examined and receive booster vaccines yearly. Our practice offers a variety of flea and tick preventatives as well as heartworm prevention. We are happy to discuss and create a care plan that best suits your pet and its lifestyle.

ABOUT
OUR CLINIC

Chester Veterinary Clinic was originally started by Dr. James (Crack) Anderson in the mid 1960’s. Dr. Anderson and his family devoted their lives to the health and well being of animals in Chester and the surrounding counties for over 40 years. His dedication and devotion to the people and animals of the area is remarkable.

After his sudden death in 2007, his family opted to keep the clinic open for business. Dr. Lindy Wang was secured as lead veterinarian and has made her home in Chester, falling in love with Chester, its people and their animals. The practice was sold in 2011 to long-time employee, Russ White and his wife, Gina. They strive to maintain the quality of care people have come to expect.

By altering your pet, their life expectancy increases by reducing the chance of developing certain cancers, roaming, and injury.
Just like humans, our pets need dental care. We provide dental cleaning and extractions when necessary.
We offer in-house blood diagnostic testing, x-rays and electrocardiograms. Through these diagnostic tools, we can determine the cause of your pet’s symptoms and determine a course of treatment.
